Rounded Leather Pouch Pattern
This is a simple leather pouch pattern with a rounded body and flap, designed to be worn from a belt.
The construction is fairly straightforward and doesn't require a lot of complicated pieces, making it a good project if you're newer to leatherworking. The rounded shape gives it a little more character than a basic rectangular belt pouch while still leaving plenty of room to add your own tooling, artwork or hardware.
It works well as a general belt pouch for medieval, fantasy, LARP, costume or everyday builds.
The Product Photo of this Pouch was made by Sharon Wells and her husband Mike on the Dark Horse Workshop Discord channel as part of a contest.
I do NOT currently have a video of this build, but pouches tend to go together fairly similairly. Here are a couple videos to help you. The green pouch gives you an idea of how the strap works, and the turquoise pouch gives you an idea of how to mount your gusset.
