This project was soooo much fun. First of all, the tutorials from DarkHorse are great, lots of information. Made this little pouch for my daughter for an upcoming renaissance festival. I asked her if she wanted the dragon on the front and she said, 'yes!' LOL. It was my first time painting acrylic on leather and it was just OK. I got a little impatient at the end, which was all my fault. That said I added a little bandolier strap of oil tanned leather and she is just as pleased as punch. VERY easy beginner project, spent more of my time preparing the leather than assembling.
