Checked out to compare my own pattern to

I was worried my own pattern design for 2 child-sized sporrans wouldn't work, as I'd not made this sort of item before, so I checked the scale of my drawing against your adult-sized sporran, and I got to work.
I hope to try some of the kind of work you do in leather, but my own experience has been machine-sewn leather only, and not having my Juki straight-stitch upholstery machine anymore, I used a great little Elna Lotus portable machine I'd got a while ago at a garage sale, got it tuned up, and it sewed up the sporrans from recycled leather hand bags like a gem. My wee grand boys looked super in their kilts and sporrans. I appreciate that you published and put up for sale your pattern - it gave me something to compare to, what with my brother's and son's sporran's at their places many hours away. Thanks for the super inspiration to try out leatherwork in your line of craft. JKC

      A great pattern

A good easy pattern to follow. My first sporran came out great. My next will be even better. The pattern gives you a great foundation to start from.
