Leather Armor Pattern Pack
This Leather Armor Pattern Pack includes four matching pieces of leather armor: the Cuirass, Pauldrons, Gorget, and Vambraces, along with Tassets that were added to the pattern later.
I designed these pieces as part of a series of builds working toward a complete suit of leather armor. The design is primarily aimed at LARP, costume, cosplay, medieval, and fantasy builds, but it can also be adapted for SCA, rattan, and other forms of sport combat.
All of the pieces are designed to work together as a matching set.
Length measures vertically from the top to the bottom of the assembled panel.
Upper Chest / Back Width measures across the upper portion of the front or back panel.
Waist Width measures across the bottom of each panel.
The cuirass is built from overlapping horizontal lames. Increasing the overlap can reduce the finished torso length by approximately 2–3 inches.
The front and back panels work together around the body and connect at the sides, so these measurements should not be compared directly to your full chest or waist circumference.
